When you just have to go

new hedderA HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER_thumb

Within these blogs I try to impart the experiences I have in rolling the roads going toewing.

In the truck I see many things that just makes me scratch my head and ask, how can that be?

Then there’s those times toew trucking over rural roads.

One of the worst times is when your bladder and bowels need to unload and there just is no or very remote commodes to go in.

If your lucky in towns you can find remote potties in office buildings. I’m not talking super fancy ones, but strip mall office facilities. In there you can find pretty good accommodations. Few of the public ones say at Loves Truck stop here are good, but there is those two that have not been serviced for several hours despite the mentioning the situation to the on duty manager. Night time is better at Loves but days they flat don’t care.

But out on the cow trails it’s a different story.

Doing number one is no biggy, stop, cool off a tire and be on your way. Late at night early morning hours especially, after those Chili dogs at the Flying J in Snowville, that stretch on Highway 81 number 2 is really pushing your innerds to where you start seeing pink elephants, you need to go.

State supported rest areas are crap shoots. Yes you might find one that’s clean and well kept. Most of the time it’s a place where late night drug deals are made. Don’t want to stop there. So you start looking for a porta potty somewhere. You get to the point where all you really want to do is find a rock, grab your roll of TP and Git-R-Done.

This is fine if its summer or fall, but winter although easier to bury your mess, means cold buns.

Its really a quandary when you really have to go.

Okay , found that a few weeks ago, returning to Twin Falls, and going back into Anchors Bistro there , damn I wish they had one in Burley, but saw our great gal Emme had flown the coop to Boise. Not putting down the lovely honeys there now , but besides working at Anchors , Emme is a club associate. She’ll be missed.

Talking about having to go.

Next entry , the election .

If at first you don't succeed… make sure nobody finds out you tried!
