But give me a Holmes

adxelexi

I had the fun of rolling on a toew call with friend Jared today.

Not a big deal just a scoop up for repair. We got there lowered the stinger and all, got hooked and strapped down.

After looking at it all, I know for a fact I could have done the same call with LexiBelle, sling and chains , in half the hook up time. Plus Jared never used his tag lights. Really?

Any way what ever works.

So as soon as LexiBelle gets a fuel bladder under her, the contest is on, between Jared’s rig and LexiBelle, film will be on YouTube.

Things going good, but Christmas is going to be scarce. By the time I pay everything with Charlie at the helm, as my new payee, I’ll be lucky if I have $43.00 left over, but we’ll see.

Until Thursday,

Knytes Knotes

knytes knotes

Here I am wide awake when I should be sleeping, considering I need to be vertical at 07:00 hours.

Good news from the FAA, and all.

The FAA no longer requires a specific weight limit or maximum of a pilot.

Yeppers , I can begin to get back into the cockpit.

I had an ephany the other night, restore LexiBelle, for prosperity sake, but get completely out of toewing and concentrate on flying.

However with hangar space and all being at a premium I am putting that off for a tyme.

Also thinking of going north of the river to re-establish Dixie Toewing in either Gooding, Bliss, or Hagerman.

We see. Still have everything concerning that in Burley.

Last got here to the house that Charlie is renting me, although there is some cosmetic problems such as a big hole near the toilet. Why punch a hole that big for a tiny pipe? I don't know but hey this is better than what I lived in rather existed in , in Burley, so hey.

Anymile, Internet time is critical here so will close.

See ya’ll in the ayre.

For the lack of , and did you catch SOA last night?

COOTERS PHOOTENOTES_thumb

Here I am awake, when I should be sleeping in anticipation of the part exit out of Burley, yet besides a near migraine I’m awake.

Reason? Trying to get everything done computer and Internet wize done, before I pull the plug in the afternoon, and thus no Internet for awhile. Granted the fact that I could, quit the shop that would give me Internet. But with the work I need to do to LexiBelle>>>>pink lady[2] from the fuel tank to all over makeover, keeping the shop is needed. Course couldn’t have LexiBelle out in the cold either.

So yes been procrastinating some but by tonight I’ll be sleeping in Twin Falls not Burley.

Now B4 anybody panics here, while I’ll be bedding down in Twin , HCC, as well as Dixie Toewing will remain here and I’ll be working to build that up from over there, plus putting in duty time for the club, where resources albeit still limited, but more resources are available.

Speaking of the club, did You see SOA last night? I though Juice was toast, but Jax saved him, then there was Otto who axed that duty nurse. Right in front of Tera. Watch to see if Tera now decides to take that other job, and her and Jax split as a cliff hanger for season 6. Watch too and see if Clay doesn’t axe Juice or the other way around, then keep us waiting until next fall to catch the rest of the story.

Last, a Facebook acquaintance , Aneesh, had some pics of beautiful gals. 201 or them, many duplicates, but out of that 201 only 8 worth a second look? Hey Aneesh old buddy, include some Hazzard and southern honey in there.

Any mile, got my last radio shows to do here and then get ready to unplug tonight, so gotta get up at noon.

See ya’ll on the big road,

for the want of xp

Cooters Gearz hedder_thumb

Help for the visually impaired my ass. Then there is the bitmap of Windows 7 that is quirky to say the least. Lack of older fonts and type styles and you get the drift.

Now here during the hurried Christmas season the idiogeeks at Microsoft introduces Windows 8. More bullshit to learn. I have an idea, how about Windows XP Part Duex, return the user friendly abilities of XP, combined with what's in 7 and make Windows Office assistant Clippy available again as standard fare and I’d buy that.

Now if you have all damn day to fart around with a computer or are so devoid a life that you need to nurse your computer fine. For the rest of us, give me things I can use, get rid of what ain’t and make wrenching on the damn thing easy so I don’t have to call the damn geek squad every time I need to rework stuff.

Okay then, the gal we had plugged in for a resident hen for Burley copped out, as I was sure she would. She wasn’t a bad kid, but a kid none the less, and not a very good fit for a toew service from Hazzard County, ran by an MC. SAMCRO MC to be exact, Knytes-of-Anarchy to be more exact. The good part her bugging out was good since I didn’t have to give her the boot.

Speaking of Hazzard.

The move to Twin Falls, allows a bit closer ability to resurrect things club wise in Hazzard. So ye old Crazy C, here aka AyreWolf , will be off line for a couple of months doing that.

So until after the first of the year , ya’ll have a good Thanx Giving, Merry Christmas and all that, may the next few years of Obama be better for us all. Speaking of which, I did not go out and vote, why? Simple; no Confederate States Party candidates on the ballot. When there is, I’ll vote.

What about Confederate’s Veterans on Veterans Day?

AW PHOOTENOTES HEDDER

So was digging online, only to find our honey in Gooding didn’t want to remain with the club. So as such, thanx for the wifi, and grub while I was there, but aside of that, see ya’ll around the galaxy.

Okay sayin that, Today was Veteran’s Day in our nation. Sadly I heard little if anything anywhere saluting those who fought in the nations bloodiest war , the war tween the states.

While it’s a known fact that there IS a Confederates Memorial Day, and honored by 9 states currently, the question is , how about honoring both living and past Confederate Veterans?

Even to the point of honoring those Confederates that have shed blood for current USA conflicts as well as those of history such as WWII.

I propose, if there isn’t a Confederates Veterans Day, we create one.

Finally, will be off line for a few weeks, heading to Twin to get things going there, so wont have Internet, but should be back up , shortly after the 1st of the year.

Until then get in touch by phone.

Keep it wings level

TBS holds onto reruns to be funny , very funny but looses traction with wedding band

new hedderwolf's den hedder

Right now I should be in Twin Falls, but a power steering hose blew and wouldn’t you know it, not one dang place in Burley except the local Chevy dealer had one for a 93 S-Dime. So went to a local scrap yard, $15.00 later and a few fittings and back in order. Trouble is, shortened the available funds to finish the move.

So will move all but needed items to the shop, and weather permitting, haul the rest to Twin on Tuesday.

Okay then, watched the reruns on TBS of the Big Bang Theory which still holds onto its vigor, but then saw this new thing, called , “ The Wedding Band” some off the wall show about some misfits doing gigs for weddings.

It only took a few frames of Wedding Band to make me flip the channel.

So watched some movie about a modern era NOAH , and decided to get ready for bed.

So then got to feeling spacy, so tested my blood like a diabetic should, and mine was way high. So took my pills for same, which tastes like crap drank some milk and so that was my Saturday.

TBS is in trouble though. I don’t think either Wedding Band or the new series Cougar Town, will get past half a season, but hey some might think so.

More on the why I’m moving in my next entry.

When you just have to go

new hedderA HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER_thumb

Within these blogs I try to impart the experiences I have in rolling the roads going toewing.

In the truck I see many things that just makes me scratch my head and ask, how can that be?

Then there’s those times toew trucking over rural roads.

One of the worst times is when your bladder and bowels need to unload and there just is no or very remote commodes to go in.

If your lucky in towns you can find remote potties in office buildings. I’m not talking super fancy ones, but strip mall office facilities. In there you can find pretty good accommodations. Few of the public ones say at Loves Truck stop here are good, but there is those two that have not been serviced for several hours despite the mentioning the situation to the on duty manager. Night time is better at Loves but days they flat don’t care.

But out on the cow trails it’s a different story.

Doing number one is no biggy, stop, cool off a tire and be on your way. Late at night early morning hours especially, after those Chili dogs at the Flying J in Snowville, that stretch on Highway 81 number 2 is really pushing your innerds to where you start seeing pink elephants, you need to go.

State supported rest areas are crap shoots. Yes you might find one that’s clean and well kept. Most of the time it’s a place where late night drug deals are made. Don’t want to stop there. So you start looking for a porta potty somewhere. You get to the point where all you really want to do is find a rock, grab your roll of TP and Git-R-Done.

This is fine if its summer or fall, but winter although easier to bury your mess, means cold buns.

Its really a quandary when you really have to go.

Okay , found that a few weeks ago, returning to Twin Falls, and going back into Anchors Bistro there , damn I wish they had one in Burley, but saw our great gal Emme had flown the coop to Boise. Not putting down the lovely honeys there now , but besides working at Anchors , Emme is a club associate. She’ll be missed.

Talking about having to go.

Next entry , the election .
